• புதுதில்லியில் வர்த்தகப் பேச்சுவார்த்தை 2023 நிறைவடைந்த பிறகு, இந்திய - அமெரிக்க வர்த்தகப் பேச்சுவார்த்தை செயல்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் குறைகடத்தி விநியோகச் சங்கிலி மற்றும் புத்தாக்க கூட்டுமுயற்சியை ஏற்படுத்துவதற்கான புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்தில் இந்தியாவும் அமெரிக்காவும் கையெழுத்திட்டன. 
• மத்திய வர்த்தகம் மற்றும் தொழில்துறை அமைச்சர் திரு பியூஷ் கோயலின் அழைப்பை ஏற்று, அமெரிக்க வர்த்தக அமைச்சர் திருமிகு கீனா ரைமோண்டோ புதுதில்லி வந்துள்ளார். 
• அவரது வருகையை முன்னிட்டு இரு நாடுகளிடையே புதிய வர்த்தகம் மற்றும் முதலீட்டு வாய்ப்புகளை ஈர்ப்பதற்கான ஒத்துழைப்பு குறித்து ஆலோசிப்பதற்காக இந்திய- அமெரிக்க வர்த்தகப் பேச்சுவார்த்தை இன்று நடைபெற்றது.
• இந்தியாவின் குறைகடத்தி இயக்கம் மற்றும் அமெரிக்காவின் சிப்ஸ் மற்றும் அறிவியல் சட்டத்தின் அடிப்படையில் குறைகடத்தி விநியோகச் சங்கிலி மீள்தன்மை மற்றும் பன்முகத்தன்மை குறித்து இரு நாடுகளின் அரசுகளிடையே ஒருங்கிணைந்த இயக்கமுறையை உருவாக்குவது இந்த புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்தின் முக்கிய குறிக்கோளாகும். 
• பரஸ்பர நன்மை பயக்கும் ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாடு, திறமை மற்றும் திறன் மேம்பாட்டில் இந்த ஒப்பந்தம் கவனம் செலுத்தும்.

• After the conclusion of the 2023 trade talks in New Delhi, India and the US signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a semiconductor supply chain and innovation partnership under the Indo-US Trade Dialogue Action Plan.
• US Commerce Minister Keena Raimondo has arrived in New Delhi on the invitation of Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.
• Ahead of his visit, the India-US trade talks were held today to discuss cooperation to attract new trade and investment opportunities between the two countries.
• The main objective of this MoU is to create a coordinated mechanism between the governments of both countries on semiconductor supply chain resilience and diversity based on India's semiconductor initiative and the US's Chips and Science Act.
• The agreement will focus on mutually beneficial research and development, talent and capacity building.
