• மத்திய வர்த்தகம் மற்றும் தொழில்துறை அமைச்சர் திரு பியூஷ் கோயல், தென்னாப்பிரிக்காவின் பிரிக்ஸ் தலைமைத்துவத்தின் கீழ் நேற்று (07-08-2023) நடைபெற்ற 13-வது பிரிக்ஸ் வர்த்தக அமைச்சர்கள் கூட்டத்தில் காணொலி மூலம் கலந்து கொண்டார். 
• இந்த ஆண்டு பிரிக்ஸ் அமைப்பின் கருப்பொருள் "பிரிக்ஸ் மற்றும் ஆப்பிரிக்கா: பரஸ்பரம் விரைவுபடுத்தப்பட்ட வளர்ச்சி, நிலையான வளர்ச்சி மற்றும் உள்ளடக்கிய பன்முகத்தன்மைக்கான கூட்டு செயல்பாடு" என்பதாகும்.
• உலக வர்த்தக அமைப்பு, விநியோகச் சங்கிலி, டிஜிட்டல் மயமாக்கல், குறு, சிறு, நடுத்தர நிறுவனங்கள் தொடர்பான பிரச்சினைகள் உள்ளிட்டவை குறித்து திரு பியூஷ் கோயல் கூட்டத்தில் பேசினார். 
• ஒருவருக்கொருவர் நம்பிக்கையை வளர்க்க வேண்டியதன் அவசியத்தை வலியுறுத்திய திரு பியூஷ் கோயல், உலக வர்த்தக அமைப்பின் சீர்திருத்த நடவடிக்கைகள் தொடர்பாக வலுவான நம்பிக்கையை அவர் வெளிப்படுத்தினார். 
• பருவநிலை மாற்றம் தொடர்பான சவால்களை எதிர்த்துப் போராடுவதில் இந்தியாவின் முயற்சிகளை பிரிக்ஸ் உறுப்பு நாடுகளுக்கு அமைச்சர் விளக்கினார். 
• இந்தியாவின் தலைமைத்துவத்தின் கீழ் நடைபெறும் ஜி 20 வர்த்தக மற்றும் முதலீட்டு பணிக்குழுவின் முடிவுகளுக்கு ஒத்துழைப்பு அளிக்குமாறு அமைச்சர் கேட்டுக் கொண்டார். 
• டிஜிட்டல் தொழில்நுட்பப் பயன்பாட்டை மேம்படுத்தவும் அனைவருக்கும் அதன் பயன்கள் கிடைக்கவும் பிரதமர் திரு. நரேந்திர மோடியின் திறமையான தலைமையின் கீழ் இந்தியா மேற்கொண்டுள்ள முன்முயற்சிகளை திரு பியூஷ் கோயல் குறிப்பிட்டார். 
• சவால்களை எதிர்கொள்வதற்கு ஒற்றுமை மற்றும் வெளிப்படைத்தன்மை ஆகியவற்றுடன் கூட்டு முயற்சிகள் மற்றும் அர்ப்பணிப்பு ஆகியவற்றின் தேவையை அமைச்சர் திரு பியூஷ் கோயல் வலியுறுத்தினார்.

• Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Mr. Piyush Goyal, attended the 13th BRICS Trade Ministers' Meeting held yesterday (07-08-2023) under the BRICS leadership of South Africa through video.
• The theme of this year's BRICS organization is "BRICS and Africa: Joint Action for Mutually Accelerated Growth, Sustainable Development and Inclusive Diversity". Mr. Piyush Goyal addressed the meeting on issues related to the World Trade Organization, supply chain, digitization, micro, small and medium enterprises.
• Mr. Piyush Goyal emphasized the need to build trust in each other and he expressed strong confidence regarding the reform measures of the World Trade Organization. The minister briefed the BRICS member states about India's efforts in combating the challenges related to climate change.
• The Minister sought cooperation in the decisions of the G20 Trade and Investment Working Group under the leadership of India. Prime Minister Shri. Mr. Piyush Goyal mentioned the initiatives taken by India under the able leadership of Narendra Modi.
• Minister Mr. Piyush Goyal emphasized the need for joint efforts and commitment along with unity and openness to face the challenges.
