• பிரைட் ஸ்டார்-23 பயிற்சி / BRIGHT STAR-23 EXERCISE: எகிப்தின் கெய்ரோ (மேற்கு) விமானப்படை தளத்தில் 2023 ஆகஸ்ட் 27 முதல் செப்டம்பர் 16 வரை நடைபெற உள்ள பிரைட் ஸ்டார் -23 என்ற இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு ஒரு முறை நடைபெறும் பலதரப்பு முப்படைகளின் பயிற்சியில் பங்கேற்பதற்காக இந்திய விமானப்படை (ஐ.ஏ.எஃப்) குழு இன்று புறப்பட்டது.
• அமெரிக்கா, சவுதி அரேபியா, கிரீஸ் மற்றும் கத்தார் ஆகிய நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த படைப்பிரிவுகள் பங்கேற்கும் பிரைட் ஸ்டார் -23 பயிற்சியில் இந்திய விமானப்படை பங்கேற்பது இதுவே முதல் முறையாகும். இந்திய விமானப்படையில் ஐந்து மிக்-29, இரண்டு ஐ.எல்-78, இரண்டு சி-130 மற்றும் இரண்டு சி-17 ரக விமானங்கள் இடம்பெறும். 
• இந்திய விமானப்படையின் கருட் சிறப்புப் படையைச் சேர்ந்த வீரர்களும், எண் 28, 77, 78 மற்றும் 81 படை பிரிவுகளைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களும் இந்த பயிற்சியில் பங்கேற்க உள்ளனர். இந்திய விமானப்படை விமானம், இந்திய இராணுவத்தைச் சேர்ந்த சுமார் 150 வீரர்களையும் ஏற்றிச்செல்லும்.
• கூட்டு நடவடிக்கைகளை திட்டமிடுதல் மற்றும் செயல்படுத்துதல் ஆகியவற்றை பயிற்சி செய்வதே இப்பயிற்சியின் நோக்கமாகும். 
• எல்லைகளுக்கு அப்பால் பிணைப்பை உருவாக்குவதற்கு வழிவகுப்பதோடு மட்டுமல்லாமல், இத்தகைய தொடர்புகள் பங்கேற்கும் நாடுகளுக்கு இடையில் உத்தி சார்ந்த உறவுகளை மேம்படுத்துவதற்கான வழிமுறைகளையும் வழங்குகின்றன.

ENGLISH

• BRIGHT STAR-23 EXERCISE: A contingent of the Indian Air Force (IAF) today departed to participate in the biennial multi-trilateral exercise BRIDE STAR-23, scheduled to be held from August 27 to September 16, 2023 at Cairo (West) Air Base, Egypt.
• This is the first time that the Indian Air Force is participating in the Bright Star-23 exercise, in which squadrons from the United States, Saudi Arabia, Greece and Qatar are participating. The Indian Air Force will have five MiG-29s, two IL-78s, two C-130s and two C-17s.
• Soldiers from the Garuda Special Forces of the Indian Air Force, and personnel from No. 28, 77, 78 and 81 Squadrons will participate in the exercise. The Indian Air Force aircraft will also carry around 150 soldiers from the Indian Army.
• The purpose of this exercise is to practice planning and execution of joint activities.
• Apart from leading to the formation of bonds across borders, such interactions also provide a means to enhance strategic relations between participating countries.
