2023 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான இலக்கியத்திற்கான நோபல் பரிசு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த ஆண்டுக்கான நோபல் பரிசுகள் ஒவ்வொருத் துறைகளில் தினந்தோறும் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றன.

இதுவரை மருத்துவம், இயற்பியல், வேதியியல் ஆகிய துறைகளுக்கான நோபல் பரிசுகள் அறிவிக்கபட்ட நிலையில், இலக்கியத்திற்கான நோபல் பரிசு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

அதன்படி 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான இலக்கியத்திற்கான நோபல் பரிசு நார்வே எழுத்தாளர் ஜான் ஃபோஸ் என்பவருக்கு வழங்கப்படுவதாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. கவிதை, உரைநடை, சிறுகதைகள், கட்டுரைகள், நாடகம் ஆகிய துறைகளில் இவரது பங்களிப்பிற்காக நோபல் பரிசு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

குழந்தை இலக்கியங்களிலும் தனது பங்களிப்பை வழங்கியுள்ள ஜான் ஃபோஸ், 2003-ஆம் ஆண்டு பிரான்ஸ் நாட்டின் உயரிய விருதான செவாலியர் விருதை பெற்றார். மேலும் 2014-ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான ஐரோப்பிய இலக்கியப் பரிசையும் ஜான் ஃபோஸ் தட்டிச் சென்றது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

Accordingly, it has been announced that the Nobel Prize for Literature for the year 2023 will be given to the Norwegian writer Jan Fosse. He has been awarded the Nobel Prize for his contributions in the fields of poetry, prose, short stories, essays and drama.

John Fosse, who has also contributed to children's literature, was awarded the Chevalier, France's highest award, in 2003. It is also noteworthy that John Fosse won the European Literature Prize for 2014.
