History of the World Television Day

WORLD TELEVISION DAY 2023 - 21ST NOVEMBER: In 1927, Philo Taylor Farnsworth made the first electric TV. He was an American inventor. W3XK, the first mechanic TV station, debuted in 1928.Charles Francis Jenkins was behind this broadcast. In 1996, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) declared the 21st of November as World Television Day.

Why did World Television Day come into being?
