GINI INDEX 2025 / கினி குறியீடு 2025: உலகின் நான்காவது பெரிய பொருளாதாரமாகக் கொண்டாடப்படும் இந்தியா, தற்போது மற்றொரு மைல்கல்லையும் எட்டியுள்ளது.

வருமானத்தில் சமத்துவம் என்ற அடிப்படையில் மற்ற நாடுகளைவிட இந்தியா தொடர்ந்து முன்னேறி வருவதாக உலக வங்கி தெரிவித்துள்ளது. வருமானத்தில் சமத்துவத்தையும் குறிக்கும் குறியீடான கினி (Gini) மதிப்பெண்கள், இந்தியாவுக்கு 25.5 என்ற நிலையில் உள்ளது.

ஆனால், அமெரிக்காவில் 41.8 என்றும், சீனாவில் 35.7 என்றும் உள்ளது. பூஜ்ஜியத்தில் இருந்து நூறு வரையில் மதிப்பிடப்படும் கினியானது, 100 என்ற நிலையில் இருந்தால், அது தீவிர சமத்துவமின்மையைக் குறிக்கும். அதுமட்டுமின்று, ஜி7 மற்றும் ஜி20 நாடுகளைவிடவும் இந்தியா முன்னணியில் உள்ளது.

இருப்பினும், முதலிடத்தில் 24.1 சதவிகிதத்துடன் ஸ்லோவாக் குடியரசும், இரண்டாம் இடத்தில் 24.3 சதவிகிதத்தில் ஸ்லோவேனியாவும், மூன்றாம் இடத்தில் 24.4 சதவிகிதத்துடன் பெலாரஸும் உள்ளது. 

அதற்கு நான்காம் இடத்தில் 25.5 சதவிகிதத்துடன் இந்தியா உள்ளது. இதன் மூலம், நாட்டின் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சி மக்களுக்கு பயனளிப்பதை உறுதி செய்வதைக் காட்டுகிறது.

2011-ல் 28.8-ஆக இருந்த இந்தியாவின் கினி, 2022-ல் 25.5 என்று உயர்ந்துள்ளது. இது கடந்த பத்தாண்டுகளில் வருமான இடைவெளிகளைக் குறைப்பதைக் காட்டுகிறது.

2011 - 23 இடையில் 17.1 கோடி இந்தியர்கள், தீவிர வறுமையிலிருந்து மீட்கப்பட்டதாக உலக வங்கி தெரிவித்தது. 2011-ல் 16.2 சதவிகிதமாக இருந்த நிலையில், 2022-ல் 2.3 சதவிகிதமாகக் குறைந்தது.

GINI INDEX 2025: India, which is celebrated as the world's fourth largest economy, has now reached another milestone. The World Bank has said that India continues to outperform other countries in terms of income equality.

India's Gini score, which also indicates income equality, is 25.5. However, the US has 41.8 and China has 35.7. The Gini, which is rated from zero to one hundred, if it is at 100, it indicates extreme inequality. Not only that, India is ahead of the G7 and G20 countries.

However, the Slovak Republic is at the top with 24.1 percent, Slovenia is at the second place with 24.3 percent, and Belarus is at the third place with 24.4 percent. India is at the fourth place with 25.5 percent.

This shows that the country's economic growth is ensuring that it benefits the people. India's Gini coefficient has increased from 28.8 in 2011 to 25.5 in 2022, reflecting a narrowing of income gaps over the past decade.

The World Bank said that 171 million Indians were lifted out of extreme poverty between 2011 and 2023. The rate fell to 2.3 percent in 2022 from 16.2 percent in 2011.
