- ஐநா பாதுகாப்பு கவுன்சிலின் தீவிரவாத எதிர்ப்பு குழுவின் 2 நாள் சிறப்பு கூட்டம் முதல் முறையாக இந்தியாவில் நடத்தப்பட்டது. முதல் நாள் கூட்டம் மும்பையில் நடந்த நிலையில், 2ம் நாள் கூட்டம் டெல்லியில் நடந்தது.
புதுடில்லி பிரகடனம்
- கூட்டத்தில் பங்கேற்ற அனைத்து நாடுகளும் இணைந்து, புதுடில்லி பிரகடனம் என்ற பெயரில் இதற்கான தீர்மானத்தை ஒருமனதாக நிறைவேற்றின.
- இதில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளதாவது பயங்கரவாதம் மற்றும் பயங்கரவாதத்துக்கு நிதி அளிப்பது பிரச்னையை முன்னுரிமை அடிப்படையில் எதிர்கொள்வோம்.
- பயங்கரவாதத்தை எந்த வகையிலும் ஏற்க மாட்டோம். இணையதளம் மற்றும் சமூக வலைதளம் உள்ளிட்ட தகவல் தொழில்நுட்ப வசதிகள் வாயிலாக பயங்கரவாதம் பரப்பப்படுவதை இந்தக் கூட்டம் கடுமையாக எதிர்க்கிறது.
- A 2-day special meeting of the UN Security Council's Counter-Terrorism Committee was held in India for the first time. While the first day meeting was held in Mumbai, the second day meeting was held in Delhi.
- All the countries participating in the meeting unanimously passed a resolution to this effect called the New Delhi Declaration. It said that the problem of terrorism and financing of terrorism will be tackled on a priority basis.
- We will not accept terrorism in any form. The group strongly opposes the spread of terrorism through information technology facilities including the Internet and social networking sites.
