- ஜி20 அமைப்புக்கு கடந்த டிசம்பர் 1-ம் தேதி இந்தியா தலைமை ஏற்றது. ஓராண்டுக்கு இந்தப் பொறுப்பில் இருக்கும் இந்தியா, அடுத்த ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் மாதம் டெல்லியில் ஜி20 உச்சி மாநாட்டை நடத்த உள்ளது.
- அதற்கு முன்னதாக அடுத்த ஓராண்டில் நாட்டில் உள்ள 55 நகரங்களில் 200 கூட்டங்களை நடத்த திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதன்படி, முதல் கூட்டம் ராஜஸ்தான் மாநிலம் உதய்பூரில் தொடங்கியது.
- 4 நாட்களுக்கு நடைபெறும் இந்தக் கூட்டத்தில் ஜி20 உறுப்பு நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த தலைவர்களின் பிரதிநிதிகள், ஐ.நா., உலக வங்கி மற்றும் 9 விருந்தினர் நாடுகளின் அதிகாரிகள் பங்கேற்கின்றனர். இந்திய பிரதிநிதி அமிதாப் காந்த் இக்கூட்டத்தின் அனைத்து அமர்வுகளையும் வழிநடத்த உள்ளார்.
- தொழில்நுட்ப பரிமாற்றம், பசுமை வளர்ச்சி, நீடித்த வளர்ச்சி இலக்கு (எஸ்டிஜி) உள்ளிட்ட முக்கிய விவகாரங்கள் குறித்து இக்கூட்டத்தில் விரிவாக ஆலோசனை நடத்தப்பட உள்ளது.
- முதல் அமர்வில் டிஜிட்டல் பொருளாதாரத்தில் தொழில்நுட்ப மாற்றம், சுகாதாரம் மற்றும் கல்வி ஆகியவை குறித்து விவாதிக்கப்பட்டது.
- இரண்டாவது அமர்வில் பசுமை வளர்ச்சி மற்றும் இந்தியாவின் சுற்றுச்சூழலுக்கான வாழ்வியல் (லைப்) ஆகியவை குறித்து விவாதிக்கப்பட்டது.
- India assumed the presidency of the G20 organization on December 1. India, who has been in this position for a year, is going to host the G20 summit in Delhi in September next year.
- Before that, it is planned to hold 200 meetings in 55 cities in the country in the next one year. Accordingly, the first meeting began in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
- The 4-day meeting will be attended by representatives of leaders from G20 member countries, officials from the UN, World Bank and 9 guest countries. Indian representative Amitabh Kant will chair all the sessions of the meeting.
- In this meeting, a detailed consultation will be held on important issues including technology transfer, green development, sustainable development goal (SDG).
- The first session discussed technological change, healthcare and education in the digital economy. The second session discussed Green Growth and Life for India's Environment (LIB).
