2022 ஆம் ஆண்டின் சிறந்த வார்த்தை - கோப்லின் மோட் / BEST WORD OF 2022 - GOBLIN MODE

• ஒரு ஆண்டின் சிறந்த சொல்லை கடந்த பனிரெண்டு மாதங்களின் மனநிலை மற்றும் எண்ணங்கள் பிரதிபலிக்கும் நோக்கத்தைக் கொண்டு தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்படுகிறது. 
• இந்த ஆண்டு நடந்த வாக்கெடுப்பில் மெட்டாவெர்ஸ் (Metaverse), ஐஸ்டாண்ட்வித் (IStandWith), கோப்லின் மோட் (GoblinMode) போன்ற மூன்று வார்த்தைகள் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. கடந்த நவம்பர் 21ம் தேதி முதல் டிச. 2ம் தேதிவரை ஆன்லைனில் நடந்த வாக்கெடுப்பில் 93 சதவீத வாக்குகள் பதிவாகியுள்ளன.
• இதில் 'கோப்லின் மோட்' என்ற வார்த்தை சுமார் 3.40 லட்சம் வாக்குகளுக்கும் அதிகமாகப் பெற்று தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டது. கடந்த 2021ம் ஆண்டின் சிறந்த வார்த்தையாக வேக்ஸ்(VaX) தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டது. 
• 'கோப்லின் மோட்' என்பது பொதுவாக உள்ள விதிகள், கட்டுப்பாடுகள் ஆகியவற்றையெல்லாம் பொருட்படுத்தாமல் தனிநபர் அவரவர் விருப்பமானவற்றை எல்லாம் செய்தல், தன் நலன் சார்ந்து சிந்தித்தல், சுயவிருப்பம், குற்றவுணர்வு இல்லாமல், பேராசையுடன் நடந்து கொள்ளுதல் இவை அனைத்தும் இந்த வார்த்தையில் அடங்கியுள்ளன. முக்கியமாக வீட்டை அலங்கோலமாக்கி, சோம்பேறித்தனமாக வாழ்பவர்களின் மனப்பான்மையை குறிக்கிறது.

• A word of the year is chosen with the intention of reflecting the mood and thoughts of the past twelve months.
• This year's poll featured three words: Metaverse, IStandWith, and GoblinMode. From last November 21 to Dec. 93 percent of the votes have been reported in the online poll till the 2nd.
• Out of which the word 'Goblin Mod' was selected with more than 3.40 lakh votes. VaX was selected as the best word of the year 2021.
• 'Goblin Mode' refers to the individual's desire to do whatever they want without regard to general rules and regulations, to think in terms of self-interest, selfishness, guilt-free behavior and greediness. It mainly refers to the attitude of those who make a mess of the house and live lazily.
