• 9வது உலக ஆயுர்வேத காங்கிரஸ் கோவாவின் பனாஜியில் மத்திய சுற்றுலா மற்றும் கப்பல் போக்குவரத்து, துறைமுகங்கள் மற்றும் நீர்வழிப்பாதைகள் துறை இணை அமைச்சர் ஸ்ரீ பத் நாயக், முதலமைச்சர் டாக்டர் பிரமோத் சாவந்த், ஆயுஷ் அமைச்சக செயலாளர் வைத்யா ராஜேஷ் கொடேச்சா ஆகியோர் முன்னிலையில் தொடங்கியது. 
• 9வது உலக ஆயுர்வேத காங்கிரஸ்,  உலக அளவில் ஆயுஷ் மருத்துவ முறைகளின் செயல்திறன் மற்றும் வலிமையை வெளிப்படுத்துவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது. 
• இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் ‘ஆயுஷ்மான்’ காமிக் புத்தகத் தொடரின் மூன்றாவது பதிப்பும் வெளியிடப்பட்டது. 
• அகில  இந்திய ஆயுர்வேத கல்விக் கழகம்,  ஜெர்மனியில் உள்ள ரோசன்பெர்க் ஐரோப்பிய ஆயுர்வேத அகாடமி  ஆகியவற்றுக்கு இடையே பாரம்பரிய இந்திய மருத்துவ முறைகளில் மேம்பட்ட ஆய்வுகளை மேற்கொள்வதற்காக ஒரு புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் கையெழுத்தானது.

• The 9th World Ayurveda Congress started at Panaji, Goa in the presence of Union Minister of State for Tourism and Shipping, Ports and Waterways Shri Pad Naik, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Secretary Ministry of AYUSH Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha.
• The 9th World Ayurveda Congress aims to showcase the efficacy and strength of Ayush systems of medicine at the global level. The third edition of the 'Ayushman' comic book series was also released on the occasion.
• An MoU was signed between the All India Institute of Ayurvedic Education and the Rosenberg European Ayurvedic Academy in Germany for conducting advanced research in traditional Indian medical systems.
