2023ம் ஆண்டிற்கான யுனெஸ்கோ சர்வதேச தாய்மொழி விருது / INTERNATIONAL MOTHER LANGUAGE UNESCO AWARD 2023: யுனெஸ்கோ எனப்படும் ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் கல்வி, அறிவியல் மற்றும் கலாசார அமைப்பு, ஆண்டுதோறும் சர்வதேச தாய்மொழி விருதை வழங்கி வருகிறது.
தாய்மொழியை மக்களிடையே ஊக்குவிக்கும் நபரை கவுரவிக்கும் விதமாக வழங்கப்படும் இந்த விருதுக்கு, ஒடிசாவைச் சேர்ந்த மகேந்திர குமார் மிஸ்ரா தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். மொழியியல் அறிஞரான இவர் இம்மாநிலத்தின் சிறந்த நாட்டுப்புறக் கலைஞராவார்.
ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் பிப்., 21--ம் தேதியை சர்வதேச தாய்மொழி தினமாக ஐ.நா., சபை கடைப்பிடித்து வரும் நிலையில், அன்றைய தினம், வங்கதேசத்தில் இந்த விருது வழங்கும் விழா நடைபெற உள்ளது. இதில், அந்நாட்டு பிரதமர் ஷேக் ஹசீனா பங்கேற்று, மகேந்திர குமார் மிஸ்ராவுக்கு விருது வழங்கி கவுரவிக்க உள்ளார்.

INTERNATIONAL MOTHER LANGUAGE UNESCO AWARD 2023: The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization known as UNESCO annually presents the International Mother Language Award.
Mahendra Kumar Mishra from Odisha has been selected for this award to honor a person who promotes mother tongue among people. A linguist, he is the best folk artist of the state.
Every year on Feb. 21, International Mother Language Day is observed by the United Nations, and on that day, the awarding ceremony is going to be held in Bangladesh. In this, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will participate and honor Mahendra Kumar Mishra by giving an award.
