இந்தியா - அமெரிக்க பாதுகாப்பு தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் வர்த்தக முன்முயற்சியின் (DTTI) கீழ் அமைக்கப்பட்ட விமானம் தாங்கி தொழில்நுட்ப ஒத்துழைப்புக்கான (JWGACTC) கூட்டுப் பணிக்குழுவின் 6வது கூட்டம் பிப்ரவரி 27 முதல் மார்ச் 3 வரை இந்தியாவில் நடைபெற்றது.
இதில், ரியர் அட்மிரல் ஜேம்ஸ் டவுனி தலைமையிலான 11 அமெரிக்க பிரதிநிதிகள் டெல்லி மற்றும் கொச்சியில் உள்ள பல்வேறு பாதுகாப்பு/தொழில்துறை அமைப்புகளை பார்வையிட்டனர். கூட்டுப் பணிக்குழுக் கூட்டத்தின் தொடக்க அமர்வு பிப்ரவரி 27-ம் தேதி புது தில்லியில் நடைபெற்றது.
மேலும், கூட்டுப் பணிக்குழு இதுவரை மேற்கொண்டுள்ள பணிகள் குறித்து இரு தரப்பினரும் ஆலோசித்தனர்.
விமானம் தாங்கி தொழில்நுட்பத்தின் பல்வேறு அம்சங்களின் கீழ் எதிர்கால ஒத்துழைப்புக்கான திட்டங்கள் விவாதிக்கப்பட்டு அதற்கான கூட்டறிக்கை வெளியிடப்பட்டது.
மேலும், இந்த பயணத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக, அமெரிக்க பிரதிநிதிகள் டெல்லி மற்றும் கொச்சியில் உள்ள மூத்த தலைவர்களுடன் கலந்துரையாடினர்.
விமானம் தாங்கி கப்பல் தொழில்நுட்பத் துறையில் இரு நாடுகளுக்கும் இடையே நடந்து வரும் ஒத்துழைப்பில், மற்றொரு குறிப்பிடத்தக்க மைல்கல்லாக இந்த சந்திப்பு அமைந்தது.

The 6th meeting of the Joint Working Group on Aircraft Carrier Technology Cooperation (JWGACTC) constituted under the India-US Defense Technology and Trade Initiative (DTTI) was held in India from February 27 to March 3. In this, an 11-member US delegation led by Rear Admiral James Downey visited various defense/industrial establishments in Delhi and Kochi.
The inaugural session of the Joint Working Group meeting was held on February 27 in New Delhi.
Also, the two sides discussed the work done by the joint working group so far. Plans for future cooperation under various aspects of aircraft carrier technology were discussed and a joint statement issued. Also, as part of the visit, the US delegation held discussions with senior leaders in Delhi and Kochi.
The meeting marked another significant milestone in the ongoing cooperation between the two countries in the field of aircraft carrier technology.
