அதில், ஆண்டுக்கு 40 கோடிக்கும் அதிகமான பயணியர் பயன்படுத்தும் பிரிவில், 2022ம் ஆண்டுக்கான ஆய்வில், துாய்மை மற்றும் சேவைத் தரம் வாய்ந்த சிறந்த விமான நிலையத்துக்கான விருது, புதுடில்லி சர்வதேச இந்திரா காந்தி விமான நிலையத்துக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
அதேபோல, ஆண்டுக்கு 20 லட்சம் பயணியர் பயன்படுத்தும் பிரிவில், தமிழகத்தின் திருச்சி சர்வதேச விமான நிலையம் தேர்வு பெற்று உள்ளது.

Airports Council International has conducted a survey in various categories and published a list of the best airports.
In the category used by more than 40 crore passengers per year, in the survey for the year 2022, the award for the best airport in terms of cleanliness and service quality has been announced to the New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Similarly, Tamil Nadu's Trichy International Airport has been selected in the category of 20 lakh passengers per year.
