ANNUAL SURVEY OF INDUSTRIES (ASI) RESULTS FOR 2023 - 2024 / 2023 - 2024 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான வருடாந்திர தொழில் கணக்கெடுப்பு (ASI) முடிவுகள்: புள்ளிவிவரங்கள் மற்றும் திட்ட அமலாக்க அமைச்சகம் (MoSPI), இந்த செய்திக்குறிப்பில், ASI 2023-24 என குறிப்பிடப்படும் ஏப்ரல் 2023 முதல் மார்ச் 2024 (அதாவது நிதியாண்டு 2023-24) வரையிலான குறிப்பு காலங்களுக்கான வருடாந்திர தொழில்துறை கணக்கெடுப்பின் (ASI) முடிவுகளை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. 

இந்த கணக்கெடுப்புக்கான களப்பணி அக்டோபர் 2024 முதல் ஜூன் 2025 வரை ASI 2023-24 க்கான மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது. ASI 2023-24 பற்றிய சுருக்கமான குறிப்பு இறுதிக் குறிப்பில் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

வெளியீடு, மதிப்பு கூட்டல், வேலைவாய்ப்பு, மூலதன உருவாக்கம் மற்றும் பல அளவுருக்கள் அடிப்படையில் பல்வேறு உற்பத்தித் தொழில்களின் அமைப்பு, வளர்ச்சி மற்றும் கட்டமைப்பில் ஏற்படும் மாற்றத்தின் இயக்கவியல் பற்றிய அர்த்தமுள்ள நுண்ணறிவை வழங்குவதே முதன்மை நோக்கத்துடன் தொழில்துறைகளின் வருடாந்திர கணக்கெடுப்பு நடத்தப்படுகிறது. 

இது தேசிய மற்றும் மாநில அளவில் தேசிய கணக்கு புள்ளிவிவரங்களுக்கு மதிப்புமிக்க உள்ளீட்டை வழங்குகிறது. முடிவுகள் மாநில மற்றும் முக்கிய தொழில்துறை மட்டத்தில் தயாரிக்கப்படுகின்றன.

தமிழ்நாடு அதிக தொழிற்சாலைகளுடன் (இந்தியாவின் மொத்தத்தில் 15.43%) முன்னணியில் உள்ளது.

அடுத்த நான்கு: குஜராத் (12.81%), மகாராஷ்டிரா (10.20%), உத்தரப் பிரதேசம் (8.51%), ஆந்திரப் பிரதேசம் (6.16%).

இதன் பொருள் இந்தியாவில் மிகப்பெரிய தொழிற்சாலைகளின் தளம் தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ளது.

2. நிலையான மூலதனம் (ஆலைகள், இயந்திரங்கள் போன்றவற்றில் முதலீடு)

இந்தியாவின் நிலையான மூலதனத்தில் 19.53% உடன் குஜராத் முன்னணியில் உள்ளது.

அடுத்த நான்கு: மகாராஷ்டிரா (11.94%), தமிழ்நாடு (8.09%), ஒடிசா (7.96%), கர்நாடகா (6.11%).

இயற்பியல் சொத்துக்களின் அடிப்படையில் குஜராத் அதிக தொழில்துறை முதலீட்டை ஈர்க்கிறது.

3. ஈடுபட்டுள்ள மொத்த நபர்கள் (தொழிற்சாலைகள் மூலம் உருவாக்கப்படும் வேலைவாய்ப்பு)

தமிழ்நாடு மீண்டும் முன்னிலை வகிக்கிறது (15.24%).

அடுத்த நான்கு: குஜராத் (13.07%), மகாராஷ்டிரா (12.95%), உத்தரப் பிரதேசம் (8.30%), கர்நாடகா (6.29%).

தமிழ்நாடு அதிக தொழில்துறை வேலைவாய்ப்பை வழங்குகிறது.

குஜராத் 17.22% உடன் முதலிடத்தில் உள்ளது.

தொழில்துறை உற்பத்தியைப் பொறுத்தவரை குஜராத் மிகப்பெரிய உற்பத்தியாளராக உள்ளது.

5. மொத்த மதிப்பு கூட்டல் (GVA) (மாநில பொருளாதாரத்தில் தொழிற்சாலைகளின் பங்களிப்பு)

மகாராஷ்டிரா 15.95% உடன் முதலிடத்தில் உள்ளது.

அடுத்த நான்கு: குஜராத் (14.20%), தமிழ்நாடு (10.26%), கர்நாடகா (7.47%), உத்தரப் பிரதேசம் (6.80%).

மகாராஷ்டிராவின் தொழில்கள் பொருளாதாரத்திற்கு அதிக மதிப்பைச் சேர்க்கின்றன.

ANNUAL SURVEY OF INDUSTRIES (ASI) RESULTS FOR 2023 - 2024: Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has released the results of Annual Survey of Industries (ASI) for the reference periods April 2023 to March 2024 (i.e. financial year 2023-24) referred to as ASI 2023-24 in this press note. The field work for this survey was carried out during October 2024 to June 2025 for ASI 2023-24. A brief note about ASI 2023-24 is given at the Endnote.

Annual Survey of Industries is conducted with the primary objective to provide a meaningful insight into the dynamics of change in the composition, growth and structure of various manufacturing industries in terms of output, value added, employment, capital formation and a host of other parameters. It provides valuable input to the National Accounts Statistics at national and state level. The results are prepared at state and major industry level.

Top States

ANNUAL SURVEY OF INDUSTRIES (ASI) RESULTS FOR 2023 - 2024: Top five states in terms of their percentage shares in the value of overall aggregates for each of the characteristics as under.

1. Total Number of Factories

Tamil Nadu leads with the highest number of factories (15.43% of India’s total).

Next four: Gujarat (12.81%), Maharashtra (10.20%), Uttar Pradesh (8.51%), Andhra Pradesh (6.16%).

This means Tamil Nadu has the largest base of factories in India.

2. Fixed Capital (Investment in plants, machinery, etc.)
