NOBEL PRIZE IN LITERATURE 2025 / 2025ஆம் ஆண்டு இலக்கியத்திற்கான நோபல் பரிசு: நோபல் பரிசானது மருத்துவம், இயற்பியல், வேதியியல், இலக்கியம், பொருளாதாரம் மற்றும் அமைதி ஆகியவற்றுக்காக வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

அந்த வகையில் 2025 ஆம் ஆண்டு இலக்கியத்திற்கான நோபல் பரிசு ஹங்கேரிய எழுத்தாளர் லாஸ்லோ கிராஸ்னாஹோர்காய்க்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

பயங்கரவாதத்துக்கு மத்தியிலும் கலையின் சக்தியை உறுதிப்படுத்தும் லாஸ்லோவின் கவர்ச்சியான, தொலைநோக்குப் பார்வை கொண்ட பணிக்காக வழங்கப்படுவதாக நோபல் பரிசுக் குழு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

லாஸ்லோ கிராஸ்னஹோர்காய், 1954-ல் ஹங்கேரியில் பிறந்தார். சட்டப் படிப்பு படித்திருந்தாலும், இலக்கியத்தின் மீது கொண்ட தீராத காதலால், ஹங்கேரிய மொழியையும் இலக்கியத்தையும் கற்றார்.

அவருடைய வாழ்க்கையின் ஆரம்ப நாட்களில், கம்யூனிச ஆட்சியின் கட்டுப்பாடுகள் இருந்தன. குறிப்பாக, வெளிநாடு செல்ல அனுமதி மறுக்கப்பட்டு, கடவுச்சீட்டே பறிமுதல் செய்யப்பட்டது. இந்தச் சவாலான காலகட்டத்தில்தான் அவர் எழுதத் தொடங்கினார்.

இந்த அடக்குமுறை உணர்வுகளை அவர் சலிப்பாக மாற்றாமல், தனது முதல் நாவலான 'சத்தான் டாங்கோ'-வில் (Satantango) தீவிரமான உணர்வுகளாக மாற்றினார்.

லாஸ்லோவின் இரண்டாவது நாவலான 'எதிர்ப்பின் மனச்சோர்வு' (The Melancholy of Resistance)-யைப் படித்த அமெரிக்க விமர்சகர் சூசன் சோண்டாக், இவரைச் சமகால இலக்கியத்தின் 'பேரழிவின் மாஸ்டர்' என்று பாராட்டினார்.

கிராஸ்னஹோர்காய், தனது எழுத்தில் ஏற்படுத்திய ஒரு புரட்சிகரமான மாற்றம், அவர் முற்றுப் புள்ளிகளை (Full Stop) பயன்படுத்துவதைத் தவிர்த்ததுதான்.

இதனால், அவருடைய வாக்கியங்கள் மிகவும் நீளமானதாகவும், சில சமயம் ஒரு முழுப் பக்கத்திற்கு ஓடக்கூடியதாகவும் இருக்கும். இந்த அசாதாரணமான பாணிதான் அவருடைய அடையாளம்.

'எதிர்ப்பின் மனச்சோர்வு' (The Melancholy of Resistance) போன்ற இவரது படைப்புகளில், இந்த நீண்ட வாக்கியங்கள் வாசகனை ஒரு தொடர்ச்சியான சிந்தனை ஓட்டத்தில் மூழ்கச் செய்கின்றன.

நோபல் பரிசு கிராஸ்னஹோர்காய்க்கு முதல் வெற்றி அல்ல. அவர் தனது படைப்புகளுக்காக 2015-ஆம் ஆண்டு மேன் புக்கர் சர்வதேசப் பரிசைப் பெற்றார். அதன் பிறகு 2019-ஆம் ஆண்டு அமெரிக்க தேசிய புத்தக விருது (National Book Award) உட்படப் பல கௌரவங்களைப் பெற்றுள்ளார்.

மேலும், ஹங்கேரிய சினிமாவின் தலைசிறந்த இயக்குநர் பேலா டார், கிராஸ்னஹோர்காயின் நாவல்களைத் திரைப்படங்களாக மாற்றியதன் மூலம், அவரது கலை உலகளாவிய கவனத்தைப் பெற்றது.

NOBEL PRIZE IN LITERATURE 2025: The Nobel Prize is awarded for medicine, physics, chemistry, literature, economics and peace. In this regard, the 2025 Nobel Prize in Literature has been announced to Hungarian writer László Krasznáhorkay.

The Nobel Prize Committee said that László is being awarded for his charismatic and visionary work that affirms the power of art in the face of terrorism. László Krasznáhorkay was born in Hungary in 1954. Although he studied law, he learned the Hungarian language and literature out of an insatiable love for literature.

In the early days of his life, there were restrictions under the communist regime. In particular, he was denied permission to travel abroad and his passport was confiscated. It was during this challenging period that he began to write.

He did not turn these oppressive feelings into boredom, but into intense feelings in his first novel, ‘Satantango’. American critic Susan Sontag, who read László's second novel, 'The Melancholy of Resistance', praised him as the 'master of catastrophe' of contemporary literature. One revolutionary change Krasznáhorkay made in his writing was his avoidance of full stops.

As a result, his sentences are very long, sometimes running for an entire page. This unusual style is his signature. In his works, such as 'The Melancholy of Resistance', these long sentences immerse the reader in a continuous train of thought.

The Nobel Prize is not Krasznáhorkay's first victory. He won the Man Booker International Prize in 2015 for his works. Since then, he has received many honors, including the US National Book Award in 2019.

Furthermore, by adapting Krasnahorkai's novels into films by the great director of Hungarian cinema, Bela Dar, his art gained global attention.
